Knutson Building Limited is a construction company that was established in April 2008 as a limited company devoted to delivering exceptional product to our clients. We achieve this by providing cost effective solutions while exceeding project expectations, our aggressive ethics coupled with our commitment to building positive customer relationships is the key to our sustainability.
With our resourceful and diversified staff, KBL often takes on projects that other companies would shy away from, and complete them. With convenient and advanced communications, we maintain contact with our clients even in the most remote locations. This allows for efficient project management, the distribution of up to date information and plans, effective logistics, and ultimately an informed client who receives the project delivered on time.
Safety and environmental impact is always on the top of our minds. Elimination of hazards, risk management, and environmental protection is at the forefront of any task and project. All our work, workers, and equipment carries the necessary insurance, compensation, and liability required for day to day operations as well as individual project policies as required.
Our mission statement is to provide safe and effective performance in construction solutions, meeting specifications while exceeding expectations. Growth of construction in Manitoba is centered in new residential and electrical utility-related work. While these sectors lead in job creation, there are also steady gains in industrial, commercial and institutional construction. These gains make construction a leading industry in the province. Manitoba’s requirements are rising more rapidly than other regions and major utility and resource projects currently underway or proposed will compete for many of the same trades. We will develop a strong and mobile work force able to do work anywhere in the province without limitations. This will include work in the far north and on first nation sites as required by client needs.
KBL prides itself on finding solutions to complex and challenging construction projects while delivering them to the customer on time and budget. Excellence in execution at the field level is a passion our team shares from the management to the labourers. We have a diverse background in projects from small residential projects to large multimillion dollar civil earth works projects. Focusing this varied background on the growth of KBL will allow us to reach our goals.
KBL is in its ninth year and is able to make smart and informed decisions that benefit the growth of the company. KBL will act in functional roles in the day to day operations of the company. • Developing and maintaining a competency based employee education and training program.

COR™ Certification is nationally recognized by provincial jurisdictions participating in the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations and is recognized as the ultimate distinction for construction companies. The Certificate of Recognition (COR™) Program is an occupational health and safety certification program for construction industry employers aimed at reducing the human and financial costs associated with workplace accidents and injuries. To achieve COR™ Certification, a company must successfully pass an audit conducted by the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba and also an audit conducted by an independent auditor.
